This is based on the human connections valued by Rotary previous members. While the traditional 'hands in faces will certainly remain a part of our daily practice, it's evident that trust is growing and more face-to-face connections are being made. Rotary is changing too. Rotary network is a great way to make long-lasting friendships. This has inspired us to improve our technological practices. We maintain our business online, but we have also introduced a social and service activity. In order to build a better future for Rotary and our members, we've tapped into opportunities created by the pandemic and our old routines. It's encouraging to know that 75 percent of Rotary clubs plan to continue their "business regular" activities. During the summer the majority of Rotary club members have been seen in public focusing on various initiatives, including beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups. Watch this video 1. I am thankful for the opportunity that Rotary gave me in 2002 to become an official part of the club. Rotary has provided me, just like it has provided many other people, with a network of trustworthy like-minded individuals from which I've developed genuine friendships over the past 20 years.
